Civil Engineering on Site and Operation & Maintenance of Heavy Machinery:

The concept of this course is to give you the basic practical skills as a young civil engineer on site. It is the start of your career at a construction company and you are responsible for your first project.
You will get at module 1 practical knowledge about site planning, site set up and site management. At module 2 you will practice land survey and setting out to be able to control the work at your project. At module 3 you will become a specialist on water, waste water duct construction.

Weak maintenance and bad operation of Heavy Machinery is wasting a lot of investment at construction companies. This course gives you a great understanding and knowledge about preventive maintenance. You will do checks and maintenance according schedule at Wheel Loaders and Excavators to give you the ability to control later on site the correct use of this equipment. One week you will learn to operate this machinery by yourself by excavating, loading and trench digging. What a fun.

Civil Engineering Health & Safety on Site:

Health and safety is very important bases for a successful management of modern construction sites.

It is not only a question of avoiding heavy or fatal injuries of workers and engineers on site; it is a question of controlling and steering the site in a professional and efficient manner in order to save resources, time and money for principle contractors,  designer and engineers, commercial clients and construction workers.

The trainees in this practical training will learn about the setting up of a professional site management plan, identifying risks, assessment control and review of safety instructions, and legal requirements.

The training will deal in a very practical manner with the key risks as there are site organization, slips and trips, work at height, structural stability, cranes, electricity, fire, mobile plants and vehicles, demolition works and hazardous substances.
Taking part at this training, the students and young engineers will gain from this intensive compendium about Health & Safety on Site and will make them an international Expert.

Civil Engineering Project Management by BIM (Building Information Modelling)

Many Job opportunities for young professionals in the real estate, governmental institutions, engineering and consulting market require excellent knowledge in project management skills. The latest management system is BIM (Building Information Modelling), it is a digital representation of physical and functional characteristics of a facility. A BIM is a shared knowledge resource for information about a facility forming a reliable basis for decisions during its life-cycle; defined as existing from earliest conception to demolition.

Many processes of a building can be managed by BIM, as there are “Virtual design-to-construction”, BIM in Construction Management, BIM in facility operation and BIM in Land administration and cadaster.
